Very bad experience going there I had two engines blow up after taking it to them they said it was not censor charge me 400 something dollars to replace the sensor and I got the vehicle back knocking after they diagnose and said it was a sensor the engine was no good when I took it home on another vehicle they told me it was the fan clutch and the crank sensor so I paid to get that fixed and all of a sudden the engine is knocking and no good

I took my car to get my ac fixed and tires looked at. I was previously told by a dealership that I needed the whole AC unit replaced and it was going to cost over $2000 with labor. I took my car to Kovac and not only did they not rip me off, but they also patched my tire for free. Everything only cost me over a hundred dollars. Such nice and honest people!

I'm just working in the area so I had to stay and wait for service. Seems like a average 3 hr wait. I highly recommend dropping off ur vehicle. Other than that I highly recommend Kovac!!! Good prices on tires, friendly and honest staff and mechanics. I'd use them regularly if I lived in area!

The best place in Broward county to get work done on your car!
Automotive repair shops are becoming like fast food restaurants, their on nearly every corner. They vary greatly in friendliness, quality and services preformed. Except for Kovac, they seem to have it figured out and be "hitting on all cylinders" no pun intended.
Joe the owner, actively works the business and makes sure your car is properly repaired in a timely manner and at a fair price. They accept appointments and I definitely recommend making one because this shop stays busy.
The staff and technicians are all top notch and go out of their way to provide a comfortable and first class experience. They have a comfortable customer lounge to hang out while you're car is being taken care of. There's a massage chair, that's right, a nice TV and free Wi-Fi and coffee. What else could you need?
Their also a Goodyear dealer which means you're repairs are protected by the nationwide warranty at any authorized Goodyear store so there's peace of mind when you travel. They also send coupons to the house for $ off your next visit.
Give them a try, their worth the drive!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I used a coupon and yes they honored it! I state this because I have used businesses whereas they issued coupons but would not accept them. They did with no problem and before I went in I called about an appointment and they were helpful and told me that I can just come on it and were very pleasant about talking to me. I went in, gave them the coupon and the front register lady was helpful and friendly, greeting me with a smile. They took me immediately and my car was serviced exactly as I wanted it. I absolutely plan on returning there for future services.

Took my car in to get my HID headlight kit installed. Took a few hrs, but it was busy, and they were down a few guys. Once night fall came, I noticed that the bulb alignment was way off, so I called and brought it back the next day. I was a little apprehensive seing that it was daylight and tough to see the problem, even in the garage. But within 30min, they were perfect. All the wiring was neat and flawless. Very fair on the labor, and super honest.

I can't say enough good things about the people at Kovac, particularly Rick.
I don't live anywhere near Davie so when my car got in an accident there I had no idea where to have it towed. AAA recommended Kovac and from the first moment I arrived they were so helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. They did a prompt assessment and got me a quote. Rick was also willing to work with me on a number of scenarios that would reduce the cost for me and to talk to my car people back home to troubleshoot. Each time we had a discussion he allowed me to take all the time I needed to think about it and I was never pressured to make a decision.
This is the best auto service I have received in Southern Florida and highly recommend them to others.

If you want some work done in a timely fashion go somewhere else. The front desk is great but the warehouse is a whole other place where your car just disappears for a while or it just sits in the parking lot While you wait in the tiny over populated waiting room. And then pay medium to high range considering the service you've gotten. They need to correct customer service issues.

I have used Kovac many times over the last few years for tires and basic maintenance on my vehicles. Four months ago, I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and told them to closely inspect all the tires because one felt out of balance at highway speed. They performed the service and told me that the tires just needed to be rebalanced, problem solved.
Last month, I brought my car in again for an oil change and tire rotation and again asked them to inspect the tires and ensure that all were properly balanced. I drive a lot, about 30k miles per year, so I am persistent with tire rotation and proper inflation and I notice when something doesn't feel "right". The day after the service I called them to say one of the tires still doesn't feel right, feels out of balance. They told me a tire weight may have fallen off and to bring it back to them when I could.
So now, three visits to Kovac for oil changes and tire rotations and finally to look at their previous work, each time with the same request, "closely inspect the tires and ensure that they are properly balanced and inflated". They tell me that the tires are fine, just had a weight fall off, and now should ride smooth as silk.
The next morning, on the highway, again with the shimmy and tire bounce, this time I take it to Arnst Motors in Pompano. They put it up on the rack and in less than two minutes call em over to see the problem; tread separation and a 2" x 3" section of tread missing from the inner third of the tire. A tire that could have suffered a catastrophic failure at any moment! i drive my family in this car! They are Goodyear Eagle LSC's on a 2012 car with 31k miles.
It seems that Kovac was either too lazy to actually inspect the tires as requested, or chose to ignore the issue because they did not want to deal with warrantying the tire. I sincerely hope it was just laziness. Either way, I will not go back there and I highly suggest that those who continue to frequent this establishment pay careful attention to what they do and DON'T DO....

My family has been coming here since the early 80's, so I've been coming here for years. The last few times I've been coming, service has seemed to slip...a lot. I had finally had it when he tells me the reason why my car is taking so long is because they can't find the part due to my car being "rare". I can assure you have a very popular car and for him to try to insult my intelligence was the last straw. He then tries to make excuses rather than apologize or even offer a service to make up for the entire ordeal. When I expressed my displeasure in a firm but professional way, he scoffed. I will not waste my time or hard earned money on a service that doesn't respect their customers. There are a ton of other mechanics I can use that have been recommended by friends and peers...get over yourself Kovac Automotive.

Wow... Customer service couldn't be beat here.
I have needed to come 2 more times recently for a dead battery with a cracked something-or-other on the positive side of my battery, and for an oil change and "cleaning" of my AC system... and well The guys here are So nice! They take the time to explain things to you, are honest about what needs to be fixed, and are decently and competitively priced. What beats that?
Awesome. I'm sad I will be leaving florida soon, as I'll need to find a place like this back home.
