They fix it right the first time.

The transmission went out on my van on Friday. They had me back on the road the following Tuesday. They do quality work at a reasonable price.

Fast - Economical - Right the first time

I was amazed at the one day turn around. They replaced the water pump , thermostat, serpentine belt, & hoses on my Jeep for what a well known chain repair shop quoted me just for the pump!

I was always skeptical about getting my truck serviced, but after my first visit to JR's Automotive Service I was sold. Because I have a late model vehicle, most of the pricing I've been quoted at other auto shops has been...ridiculous. (The kind of ridiculous where I've wished I had a spare kidney to sell just to cover a portion of what they said I needed.) At JR's though? I've never had that feeling of hysteria when they quote a job. How many repair shops can actually put you at ease because you know your vehicle is in good hands? The staff is knowledgable & professional and they've always gone above and beyond to provide excellent service. I recently had my transmission replaced and was expecting to wait at least a week to get my truck back. Instead, I had it back early and it actually drives better than it did when I purchased it! Their pricing is always very reasonable and they don't try to upsell services I don't need. I also like the fact that it's a locally owned shop so it means a lot to me that I'm spending money with people in my own community. It feels good to be able to do business with people who have integrity and take pride in a job well done. I wouldn't take my truck anywhere else.

My daughter took her 2003 Jeep Cherokee with 275K miles on it to JR with transmission issues. Being this old and with this many miles, I fully expected her to come back and say it needed a new transmission. JR said it was the speed sensor control (or something like that) and replaced it and some other work for a couple a hundred bucks. Whew! What a relief! Thank you, JR, for being honest and not taking advantage of us. You could have easily said the transmission was bad, but you took the high road. We appreciate it. JR is human, and is going to have occasional problems with employees, mechanics, etc. just like every other business that hires human beings. But I have found him to be very fair and honest. Rob at the shop is very helpful as well. And by the way, I don't want JR to be the cheapest in town. I want him to make a fair profit to be able to hire above average mechanics and stay in business. Competitive - yes. Cheapest - no. I want him to be there when I really DO need a transmission. At 275K miles, it may not be too much longer. :-)

Excellent professional service. The company is new, but the professionals have decades of experience. My boat is there now and I am excited to see how it turns out! Can't beat their prices either, I shopped around for something I thought I could not afford, and I am wrong! This place is amazing, will change our entire lake life!
