Overpriced Parts

They don't call around to get the "best" price on part for your vehicle. They use who they want to--no matter how much it will cost you. Local auto parts store sells brand new part for $400 and Union Street Automotive, Inc. buys the same part from whoever they use for almost $600 more!!!! Whatever happen to looking out for your customers? I will not be a repeat customer. Once bitten........ They spent my money like it grew on trees.......but I bet when they order a part for their vehicles, they make sure it is the cheapest. I would love to find a repair shop in the Newark, NY area that doesn't overcharge.

This is by far the best kept secret in town! Friendly service, fair prices and excellent service + knowledgability on all things automotive (and then some!). I have been going there since I moved here almost 8 years ago + they keep my car running in tip-top shape (and my car is almost 10 years old). Whether you just need gas, a quick drink, accidentally run over something + need your tire fixed in a flash, an inspection or major repairs...they are THE ONES to go to! Great place, great people...you can't ask for anything more :)

Gave me one price, then charged me more for less work. Last time we came here took 3 weeks to get the work done. Very rude and offensive tow truck drivers. Tols one price over the phone, then there charged us more. Would not even listen to us when we asked why.

This place is great. With my first car I was always needing to get things fixed and they always found time to squeeze me in. They even offered me a pillow and blanket one time because I was always there. They are reasonably priced and understood at the time I was in college so they adjusted prices for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
