J & S fixed it!!

Ok...took my SUV to Monroe....what a joke!! 1st of all....the guy at the counter was the biggest jerk, ever!! He was very rude & they told me the sound (metal on metal grinding in my driver''s side wheel) was that the rotors were warped & the calipers were siezing. So...I trusted them, paid over $300.00 to get them fixed & I still heard the sound. So...I take it back & after 2 1/2 hours of sitting there, they tell me it's in need of a wheel hub bearing & it'll cost $400.00. But, it'll take about 4 hours till they would have it fixed & they're not 100% sure that's the problem with the grinding. So...I wanna know if I am gonna be screwed by them fixing this item & then, I'll be out MORE money & it still won't be fixed. My son suggested J & S Auto Repair & we went & talked to them. They were very nice, very helpful & very considerate & they said "if" that's the problem, it would cost about $300.00. They made an appointment & within 1 hour I knew EXACTLY what was wrong & then, about 2 hours later they called me & said they had fixed it!!! Needless to say...the grinding sound is GONE & I'm a happy camper!! J & S helped me save my sanity & my money!! Thank you!! Oh yeah....I will never return to Monroe.

Stopped by after hours due to an overheated engine. The owner came out to check the car, provide some advice, and gave us a coolant refill all for no charge. We will definitely be coming back for business!!

Two cars were serviced at this station and services paid for. Each service rendered needed to be corrected from another shop and the performance from J & S caused more damage than there was initially. This shop should not be in business. Beware our vehicles are transportation depended on and we work too hard for our money to be ripped off like this learn from another person mistakes.

J & S is honest and reliable. They do not try to screw you out of money. I've used this mechanic many times and I haven't had one problem with them.
