I have been going to D & H Automotive for over 8 years now. I have had fantastic results every time. When a part has gone bad under warranty they have always replaced it in a timely fashion. It has been due to their fair prices, fast service and honesty that I have referred over 10 other clients and family to them. These guys are great! Our whole family takes their cars to D&H Automotive. They are a very honest mechanic shop with intelligent hard working mechanics who wont try and rip you off! Thanks guys (most recently) for fixing our Isuzu Rodeo......and it not costing a fortune!!!!

The honesty. My thunderbird needed alot of work done on the front end. A lot. I knew it did. So i did a little research on my problem. Had a price in my head.....they did not charge me a thing to check it out. Every thing i asked they deivered on. Worked it all out. They were fast. Knew what the problem was. And off i was. Very nice. Happy environment. Very reasonable prices. For labor also. Have no fear. Go to d&h. They have never done me wrong. Recommend to anyone. For sure

Norm is such a great honest businessman that you can trust! Some other shop estimated my car with a need of a brake replacement, been told which only left less than 10%. As an international girl who lives here without knowing nothing about cars, luckily I found this place, the truth was my brake still good with 50%! This place not only treat your car right but they treat people right as well! Thank you Norm for running a great business like this!

Being a girl with car problems can be a little scary. You never know if you are getting ripped off, or if you are even being heard.
Norm and D & H automotive are the best mechanics I have ever experienced. They were empathetic, straight forward, and fixed the problem. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Redding, not even for an oil change. These guys won my business and my trust.

Norm and Shane are professionals. After having repairs done elsewhere something was obviously not right. I took my car back 3 times to the other shop and still the problem persisted. Norm looked it over, gave me his thoughts, ordered parts, and called me when they were in. Once he tore it down and found the problem, the unused parts were returned (no charge to me) and my car was fixed right. They could have charged me more I wouldn't have known the difference. They're honest, reasonably priced, and do it right the first time. I'll be back.

I finally found a great mechanic! You definitely must take your car here. Five stars!! I've never had any trouble with my Toyota Corolla, since the day I bought it new from the dealership. All of a sudden, it stopped driving well. When somebody scanned it for me for free, they said it had engine trouble... misfire in cylinder number two. Being a single mom, out of work, I didn't have the kind of money everybody was saying I would need to have it fixed. The Toyota dealership wanted $190, just to tell me what the problem was! Thankfully, I found great reviews on line, for D & H Automotive!
I called and spoke to Norm, who made me feel like he cared about my problem, and would take great care of my car. The car was barely running when I brought it in... and he could have charged me anything. When he took the engine cover off, he found a rat's nest, and the wires had been all chewed up! Norm was honest, professional, and really fast. And did not over charge me, because I am a woman! I cannot say enough great things about Norm and this wonderful auto repair business! They are honest, reliable, people of integrity. If you ever need a mechanic, no matter what your car's problem is, I highly recommend that you go to D & H Automotive, BEFORE you go anywhere else!

D and H is the best automotive place I've ever been to! I don't typically write yelp reviews, but these guys are so great I had to get on here and say something. They've gone above and beyond to help me with my Toyota Tacoma. They charge a reasonable rate and get the job done quickly. Once they let me leave my trailer there overnight and helped me in the morning when the jack broke as I was trying to leave. Another time they came and picked me up at the Trader Joe's when I needed a way back to their shop. They're friendly, honest, solid mechanics who go out of their way to help. I'm very grateful to have found these guys. Thank you D and H!

This business is not doing the right thing.
Problem : Transmission
Solution: van under warranty in Feb 09
They "fix" the problem but it is not fixed.
Return monthly for the same problem until October when they send the van to another shop
find out that D & H misdiagnosed it and now that it is (conveniently) out of warranty after the 9 month fiasco they created...they want $300.00!
Please join me in warning friends, neighbors and others to stay as far away from D&H Autumotive in Redding CA as possible!
