I only came here for an estimate on damaged caused by a parking garage pillar jumping out and scraping the side of my car! ; ) Anyways the woman who owns the shop, Mary, was very helpful and friendly (I asked for her name). She told me that they used to own 3 buildings on the block when her father was alive. It has been around since like 1963 or '68. When she looked at my car for the estimate and saw the white scrapes,she offered to get rid of the large white streaks. I asked her how much? and she said no charge. Even though they were busy and one of the office staff were out dropping off a lady at home, whose car was being worked on in the shop. Mary personally brought a bottle on some kind of solvent and a towel to my car and wiped down the side of my car where the white scrapes occurred. She then wipe it down with some polish. I was so impressed!. The ugly white scrapes were gone and I could now see the damage was not as bad as it had originally appeared, although still damaging. I offered money and they didn't take it, even a tip and I was told to keep my money. I will definitely consider this place to get my repairs done if I file a claim. She didn't pressure me and she just told me that the damages on my car would be more than my insurance deductible. If they have been around since the 60s and owned by the same family, I am guessing that they have a solid customer base and repeats in the area, since I saw very little reviews or info. on them.
