Initially, my complaint was that the shop owner failed to inform me for 5 hours (after I dropped my car off with my keys, number, and address) that he did not intend to service my car; and that while that is his right, his manner of doing so was so incredibly and poorly communicated/passive aggressive that he robbed me of the opportunity to seek help elsewhere and put me in a needlessly difficult and stressful dilemma of finding transportation to work that evening. My complaint now is that, having expressed our outrage on google reviews, and living in the neighborhood of the shop, frequently passing it on our way to and fro, the shop owner seems to think it appropriate to harass me and my partner, both directly and indirectly, accusing us of lying about the service we received there. If this does not stop, there will be legal ramifications.

I called looking for one used tire for my car as I am in a desperate situation financially. When i informed the owner that i was tight on finances and couldnt spend a lot, he told me about five times that i sound like a little rich girl. I am waiting for unemployment to kick in and was going to be borrowing money on fox my tire. I hung up on him and he called me back ten minutes later to tell me I need to watch how I talk on the phone and who I hang up on. This guy needs a lesson in socializing and running a busniess.

Went in to get my car jumped, I live directly by it, my car was Around the corner. I gave them my keys and number. I went back to check on it around 5, they were closing up. They hadn't even touched it, gave me my keys back, and told Me I should take it somewhere else. Refused service, and couldn't use my car. Thanks.

I found this place while living in South Philly, and I continue to use them now. They always accommodate same day service, prices are really good, and they have coupons on their website.
I must say that I can't understand a word Robert says, but he's a very nice guy and the lady that works inside has been nothing but friendly. Great place to drop the car for an hour or two and walk over to the Italian Market.

Excellent shop. A little grungy, but they are fast, professional and honest. Inspections are $60 instead of $120 at 11th street and other local shops. I dropped off the car and had it within an hour. Love these guys.

Got an oil change, called to see if I could drop it off at noon, I ended up dropping it off a little earlier. It was done way before end of day and only $25 which is hard to find anywhere. So easy and felt pretty straight forward and trust worthy. Plus they are already sending me coupons for my next oil change at only $15. If your'e around this part of the city, go here.

Update
Yesterday we took the dead Interstate battery to our local Tires Plus store in Westmont NJ where we were treated courteously and provided with warranty service. We left the Tires Plus store with a new battery even though they were not the original seller of the battery.

Got a state inspection and some minor repair work done here. Super nice, convenient, and affordable. I came here on the recommendation of friends at work, and now I can certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic in South Phillly.
