Just had an excellent experience here! Chris and Javier exceeded my expectations for customer service. I went to another shop this morning, waited 2hrs for the diagnostic test to be ran, they weren't able to diagnose the problem, and told me it would be best to go elsewhere for further testing. Fortunately google lead me to Gary's. I was greeted with friendliness and a knowledgable staff. They were able figure out the problem within 10mins and have very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place and I will no longer go anywhere else. Thanks guys!

I own a 95 Mustang and needed an O2 bung welded on my mid pipe. I was quoted $75 to $120 to install this part.. until I called Garys Muffler. The person over the phone (I think his name was Javier) quoted me around $40 to $50. He said it may be more or less around that cost, but without seeing the car it was hard to be 100% accurate on the pricing. I booked the appointment and took it in the following morning (on a Saturday!) and they performed the work. They got it done right away and while I waited... they wanted to charge me $20 for the work!!! I couldn't, I gave them $30 and was on my way. I've had little things done with these guys in the past and all I can say is they do great honest work. I highly recommend Garys Muffler for your exhaust needs. Thanks again Garys Muffler!!

Stopped by to ask about muffler install on my car. Javier was very patient, answered my questions and recommended what he thought would be the best part for my car.
I checked out some of the work on youtube and said I would give it a chance. Made an appointment and was able to get in the next day. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound of the car. It was exactly what Javier stated.
I have only had the car back to drive for a couple of hours but I love it. I highly recommend this shop and especially Javier. His work is fantastic.

Honest and professional. dropped by to check a louder than normal engine/muffler sound in my Audi A6. He raised the car, checked it and said that it was not the muffler, probably a performance intake parts that previous owner put. Offered to pay but didn't charge me a penny.

Great customer service and quality work. I requested a quote earlier in the week and got a quick response which was competitively priced. They answered all the questions I had and were very knowledgeable. They started work right away at the time of my appointment and I was out in less than an hour. The baffle on my muffler broke so I turned to yelp to find a good muffler shop. This place was nearby and had great reviews. They were quick, friendly, and worked with me. I just wanted a cheap muffler to get me back on the road and he did just that. I'll definitely be back for any muffler needs.

My '97 Saturn had recently failed and aborted a smog test twice. Smog shop said not enough emissions following out of vehicle and possibly bad cat. Looked up catalytic converters on Yelp and found this place.
After reading several reviews decided to contact the shop and get her fixed. Spoke with Mike on the phone and he quoted me a fair price for the part and labor. Made an appointment for the very next day at 9am.
Upon arrival I was greet by Mike and he had the lift ready for my vehicle. He immediately drilled a hole in the cat and tested it; clogged! Took Uber home and got a phone call three hours later. Car was ready to pickup and running like a champ!
Mike was very nice, didn't smile much (smoked a lot) but it's okay, my car got fixed and passed smog! Will be getting an exhaust on my truck soon :)

I had a FlowMaster 40 installed on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 today. The sound is awesome. Just what I was hoping for.
This shop is very professional and treats their customers great. Customer service is second to none. Nice comfortable waiting room to hang out in while you are there.
If you are looking to have a FlowMaster installed. I suggest stopping in and seeing Mike and Javier.

He was honest about not being able to fix my problem (a dealer only part unfortunately), but gave me some good advice about where to get started. I came to Gary's Muffler Shop because my car was making a weird metal rattling noise while accelerating at a lower speed. I called ahead of time to ask for an appointment but I lucked out and caught them on a slow day so he said I could come in whenever I had time. I'm a full time single parent working full time going to school part time so lunch is my only down time during the week and this last minute accommodation was music to my ears!
Soon as I pulled into the parking lot, the guy greeted me politely and took my car up on the ramp. The guy took a look underneath my car from front to back and discovered the exhaust flex pipe casing broke off from the metal ring attachment which is what was making the metal rattling noise. He asked me to step underneath the car with him so he could show me and as he continued to explain the broken part and it's function, I cringed as I waited for him to tell me how much it would cost to fix it... You would not believe how relieved I was when he told me the part was still in good working condition and he would take off the detached metal ring off free of charge.
I was pleasantly shocked and so grateful I stumbled upon this shop on Yelp! They could have easily told me to replace the part but they were honest and told me what to look for when the part actually needed to be replaced and he also provided me with an honest quote for future reference. This place definitely deserve 5 stars for their customer service, timeliness, and integrity. I'm pretty positive I found my new go-to auto repair shop! Thanks Gary's Muffler Shop!

This was the only place that was willing and WANTING to accommodate me with the time I requested to come in (4pm due to my work hours) since all of the places I called closed at 5pm, they all either did not care to help me since it was a holiday weekend (Easter) and were rushing to go home, or just demanded that I make an appointment for the following Monday. Their loss, and Gary's gain!
Mike, who I assume is their main installer was very understanding over the phone and even quoted me a price that was cheaper than most. When I came in, he was just finishing up on another car, then worked on mines right away. He installed 2 Flowmasters on my car, and took his time to make they both were aligned and installed correct.
Everyone else that works here were pretty friendly too, and this place has been here for quite a while which says a lot.

I took my 2003 350z in because it had its muffler removed by the previous owner so it droned a lot. They ordered a muffler Monday, had it in on Wednesday and installed it in less than 2 hours. It sounds great! Great customer service, great work on the custom piping, and good price. I will be coming back here if I need any more work done. Also the waiting room has a tv and comfy couch if you have to wait.

I want to say that the Yelp reviews were correct...again. I just picked up an exceptionally clean, extra, extra low miles 2003 Ford Explorer Limited 4.6L V8 with a very passive sounding exhaust. I showed up and let them know what I wanted...a little rumble I can hear. An hour later I had a mild Flowmaster rumble and the compliment of a nice chrome exhaust tip. Thanks goes to Gary's Mufflers and his team of experts that got me in and out quickly at a very fair price. I certainly will not hesitate to recommend Gary's to family and friends.

This is definitely the place to go to get A plus service. My son had issues with his car and the guys in the shop came through. Not only did they find the problem and fix it, but they also "schooled" him on what to look for the next time he encounters the same problem. Called and spoke to Mike about a Catalytic Converter ... he instructed me on how to find the part number under my hood. Dropped my car off the next day at 8:30am ... it was ready by noon. When I picked my car up, he told me how difficult it was to change because of my cars design ... but they didn't raise the price at all! Honest and efficient service!! Highly recommend!

I needed a new muffler (mine broke in half and was hanging off my truck) on a Saturday afternoon and the guys here took care of me quickly and for a very fair price. They even showed me the whole thing up on jacks so I could see what had failed. Over a month later and everything is running smoothly. Great shop!

My husband took my Prius C four wheel driving this past weekend and not surprisingly dented the main exhaust pipe. (Note: Prius' are awesome but I'd recommend sticking to normal roads, folks!) Upon returning my car, I noticed a substantial vibration when I accelerated. Toyota claimed that the whole exhaust system needed to be replaced and we spent the whole weekend fretting about spending several hundred dollars on what was previously, a perfectly fine exhaust system. We called Gary's this afternoon, swung by with our car, jacked it up and Mike fixed the dented pipe in 20 minutes. We are now lifelong customers, and several hundred dollars richer! (That's how it works, right?;) Anyway, go here before anywhere else- honest, quick and reliable!

If you ever happen to need a catalytic converter replaced, Gary's is the place to do it. My car barely passed smog because one of them was dying. Alltech wanted $400 to do it; they're good, honest guys there, but I thought that was a bit too much. I called around to a few different places, and found that the median price was $350, but there were many others that could do it for just under $300. I wasn't looking for some cheap part and shoddy install job, but paying top dollar for it when I could get it done a bit cheaper elsewhere just didn't make a lot of sense.
What made me go with this particular shop in the end was David, and his professionalism over the phone. He will be the guy you speak to when you make an appointment (even though you don't technically need one) or get an estimate. He's very personable and knows his stuff, and doesn't mind answering any questions you might have as honestly as possible.
I took my car in at 8:30am and it was ready around 9:45am- this was including the time it took for the part to be delivered to their shop. Their converters are under warranty for 5 years or 50k miles, whichever comes first.
I've left my review at 4-stars because it hasn't been long since it was installed. I'm reserving full judgment until later. So far so good though. No more embarrassing rattle! No longer will I be the annoying sound at stop lights and drive thrus!

Best muffler shop in town! Got a Flowmaster muffler with two tail pipes installed on my 2008 Dodge Charger. Made my V6 sound like a V8! Extremely awesome customer service! Ask for David! He'll take care of you! They're fast too! Highly recommend this place for muffler maintenance or performance. They do it all!

My muffler was disintegrated and was hanging by a metal thread. I brought my car in on a saturday about an hour before they closed and was third in line. Dave had it welded back on super fast while I waited and ordered me a new one for the next week. The next week, got the new one put on (very little wait) and right on time. Good price for good service and good advice. Definitely recommended. If you're a NASCAR fan, extra bonus for you, they are at this shop too. Easy to drive by on Blackstone though, so keep a lookout for the sign.
