I run a non-profit out of Savannah GA that helps families who are having to travel for their chronically ill child to receive acute care. We assist with travel related expenses such as gas, food, lodging when the Ronald McDonald House is full, and car repairs. I received a referral from the Children's Hospital in Atlanta for a family whose only car was not driveable. The child has stage 4 neuroblastoma (cancer). The family is from Columbus, GA. Being in Savannah, I did not have any connections in Columbus, so I had to rely on reviews like this one to find a reputable repair shop. Mike at Davo Jr Automotive was wonderful to work with. He called or texted updates on the repairs regularly, but most of all, he was fair and honest. I had an initial quote from a dealer fro the repairs needed. Mike checked everything out and determined that was not even the issue. He fixed the vehicle for a fraction of the cost of the dealership. I highly recommend his company to anyone.

Davo is an awesome mechanic. I have been taking my car to him for the past two years. He takes the time to get to know the customer and digs deep to find the issue with your vehicle. I am very pleased with his work and would recommend him over and over. His prices are very reasonable and he is straight up with you, no beating around the bush trying to rip you off! Superior service. My husband called on a Sunday and explained the situation with our car. Davo said they would be out early Monday to get the car. It was repaired quickly for a more than fair price. He is very friendly and very easy to talk to. Any more care trouble or maintenance and our cars will be repaired at Davo Jr. Automotive. I would recommend him to anyone.

My car died on the highway and coasted to a stop during rush hour. Davo picked me up just a few minutes later and towed my vehicle to his shop. I got a ride home (100miles) and Davo had it fixed a day and a half later. I drove up and picked it up. He showed me the parts he removed and replaced. The labor rate and cost of the tow were very reasonable. He could have taken advantage of my being from out of town. Give him a call if you need a repair.

Anytime I'm in Columbus this will be the place I go with my car troubles. Davo Jr. is professional, fast, and fair. He fixes what the problems are and doesn't push services that could wait (this is a problem with most shops). Davo Jr is helpful, before I left after my last visit he showed me where my vital fluids where and how to check them (this is important as a 19 year old). He has a 90 day warranty on all his work. The customer service is also great. His service is quick, the last time I brought my car in the work was finished by the next day. Any questions he can answer quickly. I feel confident leaving my car in his hands for any work I need done.

I don't think I would ever go to another mechanic now! Miguel Davo, Jr is the absolute best! He is sincere, compassionate, honest and true to his word! I brought my Acura to him, knowing that it would be difficult for him to fit me in before the 4th of July weekend. After explaining that I planned to drive to Texas to meet my daughter and son-in-law, who are stationed in Germany, and haven't seen them for almost 2 years, he totally went above and beyond to take care of me. Went through a lot of looking to find the perfect used car for my teenaged son. Of course there will always be a few kinks to work out. Update: After overs thousand dollars this guy held my sons car hostage and I am not convinced he did a bit of work on it. Immediately after leaving this shop, without the hour, the car broke down on a freeway exit ramp and then on crossing a four lane road trying to make it back to his shop and my son was nearly TBoned at an intersection. This guy had the nerve to threaten to charge for a tow on a car he supposedly repaired. A straight crook

I went to a big box auto service shop today because my wife complained of steering tightness, about an hour later they called me back with a $1480 quote. Called Davo Jr and he told me to bring it over. He checked the car over saw nothing wrong and put 4 ounces of steering fluid in and the car drives great again. Charged me zero. AWESOME Mechanic.

Davo is a personable, knowledgable man who has been taking care of our cars since 2010. His shop is well-reputed and he stands behind all of the work he does on cars and is honest about what needs doing- never tacking on parts or labor that have nothing to do with the problem.
He will gladly take a look at a car before you purchase it used too which is great. His staff is full of knowledgable people and in all the time we have been using Davo we have had nothing but good experiences.

Mike Davo is the guy to trust your car with and he saved me hundreds of dollars!
I went to Midas first and they gave me a whole laundry list of things they said needed to be replaced. When I brought it to Mike however he tightened a few bolts that fixed some of the problems that Midas wanted to replace entirely and he showed me everything that was wrong in person to explain things to me.
Extremely good customer service and I plan on doing any and all my vehicle repair business through Mike from now on.
