My 20 year old daughter took her car in to find out why the air conditioner wasn't working. Was told it needed a new climate control module for $864. Took it it to another shop who found it only needed a resistor and connector for a cost of $248. Thank goodness we didn't take Christian Brothers word and be overcharged over $600!!!

We took my sons car to CB to see what was wrong with the transmission. We knew it was the transmission because we had it looked at before. We told them that it's the transmission and yes we had a certified mechanic look at it before we brought it to CB. We were told that it wasn't the transmission by CB and it would cost $1100 for what needed to be done. After we got it back the car was in worse shape. It was shaking and bouncing. We took it back to them and they said it's just cause of the new mounts that were put on and that the tranny fluid was burnt but it was okay to drive. We took it to a different place today and just like we suspected the transmission needs to be rebuilt and the fly wheel needs to be replaced. We have to put another $1500 into his car. Now the work they did is good but CB should of caught what was wrong when we first brought it to them. We will not be taking any of our vehicles to them and we will not be recommending CB to anyone.

Not customer friendly

Oil change resulted in an extra trip back due to an oil leak. This meant an hour and a half trip to me. There was NO apology or offer to refund my money. Poor customer service in my book.

I went and got my oil changes ...

I went and got my oil changes on a 24.95 special. Upon picking up my vehicle I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to talk to me. gave me a list of problems and recommended solutions. Spark plugs need changed - I changed them 6 mo ago. Need UV joint est repair cost $275.00 had my another shop repair for $175.00 trust is lost will not go here again

They were so kind to fix my tire minutes after they should have been closed for the day. Not only did they take out the big nail in my tire, they patched it and filled my tire to make sure for safe driving. I am grateful for their service and kindness! Excellent!!

I've had a coolant leak for about six months. The radiator has been replaced twice, and the water pump has been replaced. None of these solved the problem. You guys looked at it, ran tests, and found a small plastic piece that had a hairline crack. I'm not smelling antifreeze anymore -- THANK YOU!

Bad experience. Went in to have a wheel bearing sound fixed. Was recommended to go there by Autozone. They called me with an estimate of $2,800. They pointed a couple of other problems too. When I went there to pick up my vehicle, the fellow I talked to said everything he could to scare me--you will have an accident in the middle of the road, I have a pretty risky situation. On the one hand they were being so worried about my safety and on the other they were making it impossible for me to have the vehicle repaired.

I was price gouged. Estimate was just over $1000. After the fact, I called a dealership and was quoted $600.. and another shop was $450. $550 is a huge variance for the same job. Proceed with caution and get other quotes. When the dealership is cheaper by $400 there is something going on. Also I confronted them on it and was told it was a computer hardware issue, which doesn't even make sense. Then guy dropped the price slightly but was still double the average of the other estimates.

No. No no no. Went in VERY specifically announcing the issue I had, and they not only neglected it completely but fixed a part that wasn't broken, then gave me an estimate to fix ANOTHER issue for 4 thousand dollars that WAS COMPLETELY FINE. Went to another mechanic, where I was informed that the issue that needed resolved in the first place that they neglected was a stones throw from killing me because of how dangerous it was. I was also informed that the 4k issue was completely made up. Went to this place multiple times in the past but there is about 2 people there that actually care. And with a name like "Christian" brothers, you are doing a great deservice to the morals and ethos of a Christian.

Christian Brothers Automotive is the place you want to visit for any oil changes you may need. I have used them once for an oil change, the service was great, prices are good. The only suggestion I would make to the front desk team is to be more approachable and more friendly and to GREET CUSTOMERS as they walk into the office. A simple acknowledgement would go a long way, I mean a long way... It will bring repeat as well as new business. I found myself waiting at the front desk for someone to notice I was waiting... I think if you guys take my advice- you will go a long way. Also, my tire on the vehicle deflated for no reason, I thought this may have been a flat, so Christian Brothers took me in, they fixed the tire free of charge, short wait, and left my car outside the office's door so I didn't have to walk- kinda like valet service!Good people, just need to be more friendly at the front desk and say hi to customers walking in, or saying goodbye to people leaving the premises. And Yes, this has made you fall short of a five star ratings. :)
