When the transmission started going out on my Blazer, my dad told me to go here. Guess what? He wasn't wrong. I saved a lot of money going to Ed's. He took very good care of me. I haven't had any problems since. He does very good…

My husbands transmission started to clunk into gear. He called Lee at Ed's Automatic Transmission. Without a minute of hesitation, even though it was getting close to 4:30, he was told to bring it in. Lee called this morning and told us it…

i was waiting on a transmissio...
i was waiting on a transmission place (seals) to call me back for a quote on how much a tranny for my car would be after i had brought it to them and they had made a test run in which the man informed me i would probably need a new transmission considering how old the car was and what it was doing and that there was someone they do business with who guarantees their trannys and that he would call them and let me know how much it would be which i was fine with,,,, but they never bothered to call me back, ever. i called them that afternoon to see if he had heard anything back to which he said he hadnt and that he would call them again. well then its the next day (afternoon) and still i havent heard anything from seals, and im getting a pretty good impression im not gonna. i dont know if they were overloaded, or just didnt want to bother with my car or what. i had heard good things about them and that is why i had visited them first, but was very disheartened by the way i was treated so i called Ed's without knowing anything about them other than i had found them on the internet. the man i spoke with was more interested in helping me find out what the problem was with the tranny instead of just giving me a quick quote, which really struck me. after reading a lot about trannys that pertained to my car i knew a lot of what he was saying about my transmission was true and really couldnt believe he was interested enough to go to the heart of the problem which would be cheaper. i brought my car to Ed's the next morning in which Lee the owner's son helped me a great deal. to make a long story short after doing a in depth diagnostic check and kept me informed and explained everything to me my car ,alas, was ready for the great car heap in the sky. they are not out for your money, as a matter of fact they try really hard to find out what the exact problem is so that you will not have to pay for more than you need. i mean who, these days, tries to break a transmission down and fix the exact problem? nobody that i know of. i was impressed enough to write this review. and,,,, they have a web site! and it looks good!

Been there, Done that!
My son bought a 2003 Hyundai from a large local dealership (we thought it would be safer). Three months later the transmission started going bad and all we got from them was "Sorry, out of warranty." I remember hearing ads on KLVI Radio about Ed's Automatic Transmission, and how great and honest it is, so we went there. Great decision! Lee Stuart worked long and hard on it personally, and in my opinion, went above and beyond the call of duty. After we got it back there was another problem with it (thank you Hyundai!) and Lee took it back in and fixed with no charge. He said he wasn't going to let a piece of machinery beat him. I highly recommend Lee and his crew at Ed's Automatic Transmission. You'll get a fair price and honest service and then some.
Thank you Lee Stuart,

I recommend Ed's Automotive without qualification. My experience there has been positive in every regard. The president, Lee Stewart, is knowledgeable, conscientious, and more than fair. When I had a problem with my Honda concerning a noise that I could not diagnose, he spent time analyzing it, came back with an accurate diagnosis, and referred me back to the Honda people to see whether they could fix the problem, since they had apparently overlooked it originally. In other words, he was not trying to create business for himself, but trying to do what was right. And it worked out great. So, good place, nice people, and excellent work.

The place to go when transmission work is needed on your vehicle. I've driven 60 miles one way just to bring my two vehicles to Ed's Automatic Transmission. Fortunately, I've only needed fluid changes. I attribute that to Lee Stuart's honesty, trustworthiness and not selling me work that I don't need.
