I just dropped by to see if they could help me with my non-working air conditioner. Dan was so friendly and helpful. I didn't feel pressured at all. They found that the plug was out of the condenser, and it needed more freon. They took care of everything, and I was happily on my way!

I have no desire to return to this shop. The main salesman was pushy. We had to wait for someone to even help us. And on top of that, I was charged for them to "recharge" my ac and now it doesn't work; when it did partially before taking it to them.

I'm so happy I found Victory Automotive! I was car shopping in Salem, and needed a mechanic to do a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I was looking at. Jeff was super helpful and flexible. He went above and beyond what I would expect, more than once. He ended up looking at a 2nd vehicle for me as the first one needed a lot of work. I felt he was thorough, honest, and wanted to be sure I knew what I was getting. He helped me prioritize the work needed, so I didn't have to do it all at once. I would highly recommend this business if you are shopping for a used car, they will tell you exactly what you're dealing with! After I bought my Tahoe, I had them do a tune up and spark plugs. They got me in quickly and I picked it up the next day. Thanks Jeff!!

Very disappointed customer. I took my car in for an oil change and a cabin air filter change. The mechanic was informed my brakes were squeaky and I wanted him to take a peek at that and he was supposed to give me a full inspection as most places will do when you get an oil change. $250 later (initially the mechanic told me it would be $280, but after pitching a fit the guy gave me a whooping discount). I was told it was so pricey because my car is a diesel. After talking to the owner personally he told me he planned on firing the mechanic for repeated issues and that he would give me some money back in what he thought would be fair. I never heard back from him again. Poor customer service. I called 2 other places in Salem for an estimate and BOTH gave me estimates for HALF the price I paid ($125) for parts and labor. So disappointing. Update: The owner contacted me and has completely redeemed the image I had of this business. It sounds like they have experienced struggles in hiring someone dishonest and unreliable, which is unfortunate for a family owned business. I would trust this business with my vehicle again as I know the owner is trying to make things right.

This Auto mechanic shop looks clean and they have attentive service. They will also finish the car quick. BUT BE CAREFUL of their fees" They QUOTED me a repair cost on the phone. When I went to go pick up your car. The bill was significantly higher then what was quoted on the phone. Also their labor and parts costs seem to be more expensive than other mechanic shops. Also watch out for the double charging that may sneak into the bill. I would not recommend the shop as I don't think no one likes to pick up their car to find out it's a lot more $$ than what they were quoted.

Great folks. We were travelling and our alternator went out. They were very accommodating and fair. The went above and beyond, even topped of the oil for free. Shawn kept us informed every step of the way. Great customer service!
