DO NOT go here they are selling used engines as re-maunufactured and if you find out all they can say is they never have a problem with their engines it is the installers fault. This engine looked at by 3 different mechanics all have the opinion that it was a high mileage block cleaned up and sold as re-maunufactured. This engine is very badly worn to the point that the block is not even buildable. If you use this company you will be really sorry

Engine lasted 400 Miles. Main Bearing Failure. Warranty denied because we requested labor and they did not want to pay it. JD said he would gladly give us a engine had we not wanted labor but due to the labor claim he was not. Now the engine had lack of lubrication. So if you don't want money for your time they cover it but otherwise no. We purchased all necessary parts and provided them with documents required for warranty. We replace parts from ford- Ford Engine oil cooler, High pressure pump, Injectors, Ect.. and They provided Low Pressure Oil Pump. We have had the engine inspected at another machine shop and they said main bearing failure caused by not using a engine block that had previously spun a main bearing. ALL other bearings were in good shape and a lack of lubrication would cause all bearing wear/failure not just main bearings. Also main bearings are the first to receive lubrication so they would be the least damaged if it was lack of lubrication not just mains. This is the second dealing with them like this for our customers and will not recommend or install any of product from them. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY

nice place to do business
Purchased a 5.9 Cummins engine for my 2005 dodge truck. Currently I am employed by Cummins. Before installation, I decided to inspect the quality of machine work. All boring and bearing specs were at OEM specifications. Built with genuine…

I would like to start off by saying thank you so for your great service and professionalism but down to business, I purchased a remanufactured 2007.5 LMM from South Houston Engine which once I placed the call I was informed that it would be ready in a week and it was. I think I placed the order on a Thursday and I was picking it by the following Tuesday.
It took some time to get our old engine swapped out at our Mechanic's place but once he started assembling the reman every single gasket, o - ring, on the top side and the lower conversion kit was there.
We have about 20 hours so fair on the reman engine and it is very tight, awesome oil pressure and it runs very strong. I would even go as far as it runs like it did when we bought this truck new in 2007.
Thank you so much for the great Engine!
We are stopping by this afternoon with our Core... See ya shortly!
God bless!

After going to several machine shops in town, these guys were the only ones to take care of my needs. They have the equipment, the staff to do the job!

Don't go here. Purchased a remanufactured 6.7 for a ram and they sent me a used engine. Motor kicked a head gasket after only 3000 miles. took the head off and found it had a very old head gasket and pitting under the head. it was not decked and there is rust on several of the parts. I had this motor only 3 weeks. later found that the crank completley shot. JD the warranty guy would not even look at the pictures and obviously wanted me to send the only remaining core to be looked at. without looking at pictures he basically told me the only way one of their engines goes bad is due to the installer. They are crooks. I had three diesel mechanics look at this and they all said most abused motor they had ever seen. They were shocked that someone would sell this as a reman. on top of that this used motor they sent does is not even a usable core. meanwhile my work truck sits down not making money while I round up a new core, 10,000 gone now on to the courts. Don't be a victim of this group.

Good engines. Bad service. I purchased a Cummins 5.9 that didn't come with all the required gaskets, which they said were included. I called to see if they should send me just one of the missing parts (that costs only a few bucks) and they fought me every step of the way, stating that I lost the parts and there was nothing they could do.
