They fixed my car on my lunch break and didn't charge me an arm and a leg! I also need my brakes fixed and the price that they quoted me was very reasonable. I'll definitely be going back to get my brakes done and any other work that I may need.

I would recommend them 1,000 times. They are honest and fair. Midas quoted me around $400 to get a muffler replaced when realistically I just needed a sleeve welded for a hole. The price I was charged couldn't/t even compare to Midas. They're honest and reasonable. I will take my business here every time.

I took my vehicle to a dealership and was told that I needed new brakes. I didn't want to pay their hefty price, so I took it to Market Street Muffler. I was shocked when they called to tell me that after a FREE inspection, that I still had plenty of life left in my pads. It's reassuring to know that there are honest mechanics!

They completed exhaust and suspension work on my 1989 Toyota Tercel. Had some trouble getting the right parts, but afterward completed the repairs correctly, efficiently, and economically. I echo the same comments provided here by other customers. They are fair, honest, competent, and reasonably priced. I found them on the Web, and was persuaded by the wealth of complimentary reviews to try them. I was not disappointed. They may be one of the best kept secrets in Akron. Yes, they're that good!

Fantastic experience. It was my first time here. Every time I've EVER had a muffler problem i was told to replace the whole thing. I took my car here because I heard they could do it quick. After looking at my car they told me I didn't need to replace my exhaust and that they could just fit a new pipe to my exhaust saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. The job was done in less than 20 minutes and the staff is EXTREMELY friendly. I will recommend this shop to everyone from now on. HONESTY goes a long way.

Market Street Muffler and More is an Honest to goodness shop!! Thank you Ray, your sister and the whole team down there in East Akron. My parents and myself get our oil changes there. Ray's shop just put upper control arms on my car and did a wonderful job as always. I send family, friends and always encourage others to take there car there and mention that I personally recommend Ray and his very professional team at Market Street Muffler and More!! Went there on March 31 on a recommendation from my son. I could not have been more satisfied they were so friendly. They took the time to show me what needed fixed and then when they were done showed me exactly what they did. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. And to top it all off a gentleman named Ray noticed that I still had my uniform on from work and ask if I had come straight from work. When I told him I had he ask if I was hungry and offered me a slice of pizza that they had ordered! You guys ROCK

I was so impressed with the service I received. They were quick and courteous.
I had them look at the exhaust system. I tole them to do what ever needed done. I expected $800 by the time they were finished.
I walked out the door for $110.50. They replace one pipe and said the rest of the exhaust was fine.
Honesty - What a novel concept.

Previous reviews reflected the experience that I received, which is good! Came in with my vehicle having a loud exhaust - the guys took a quick look and determined that I had a piece of the exhaust pipe come apart due to rust. Rather than replacing the whole thing, they were able to remove the problem area and weld a new small piece of pipe in its place. I was in and out of there within a half an hour, and the cost was VERY affordable. Employees were friendly and honest. Thank you for the great customer service.

Ray at Market Street Muffler was recommended by my mechanic. A chain concluded I needed a new muffler at $320....but Ray said no way. He could do it for $200 tops, or weld if if possible. Thank you for learning about an HONEST mechanic. Cost me $48 to make the weld. I am trilled and will be back. Here is a shop you can TRUST!!
