Mel is great! I needed a timing belt and waterpump change and toyota quoted me $1900, a two day job, and 2 weeks wait. Another shop was $1500 and same time line. I saw Mel's van with his number on it and decided to give him a call. He quoted me $1200 all included and did it 3 days later. He showed up on time with his full shop van with everything he needed, was very fast, professional and best of all did the job in half a day. When he was done he left my driveway looking clean and with no indication of any oil or stains.
This is no sketchy van mechanic, he is a full blown mobile profesional. Will be using Mel for all my future mechanical needs!

Aloha! I jump started my car using the cables in the wrong way and the car didn't start. After we realized what was happening and corrected it, the car did start but the gas pedal didn't respond. At the dealership on the phone they told me that just the diagnostics will cost $240 & who knows what is the damage & the cost.
I found M&M Auto Repair on Yelp. I have a mobile massage business on Yelp and clients get to me, but I never really used Yelp to get services. So it was nice finding this auto repair shop. The guy on the phone was so helpful and reassuring. He suggested to check the fuses. Long story short, I end up spending $4 at the shop for a few new fuses. Thank you!

Mel is TOP NOTCH! On time, conscientious, and knows his stuff. We have used him twice to do a oil change and most recently a complete brake job on our Toyota FJ and we LOVE that he did the work right in our own driveway. He is pleasant and explains everything. AND he is reasonable - the brake job was cheaper than a local garage. Highly recommend!! Steve & Carrol Nevius

This guy is awesome. Solved the problem in 15 minutes and is a real professional. The guy I hired the day before took 3 hours and still couldn't figure out why my truck wouldn't start. His name is Sean and drives a yellow jeep. Do not hire this mechanic. He stole my battery as well. As for MnM auto, I will call him for any other problems I have. 5 star all the way.

Mel has worked on our Jeep Wrangler a few times now and he's been great every single time. He's very honest and reliable and does good work . He knows his stuff and his rates are fair. In the past we've had trouble finding trustworthy mechanics on the Island but Mel has come through with honest advice and service every time. We would highly recommend M&M to anyone looking for a good mechanic .
