Just a big thank you to Roberts Towing for helping out our library patron whose vehicle died in our parking lot. I called the police department and they were all attending to other things so I tried Roberts Towing and they came to the rescue!!! Thank you so much!

I had a pair of tires mounted and balanced to put on my truck on a Friday. I drove home the 6 miles to my house and later that evening I saw a brand new tire weight laying in my driveway.
These weights are added to all tires to balance it so that the wheel doesn't vibrate while driving and doesn't wear unevenly.
Through Facebook I notified Cody the young man who did the work. His father Tom Peterson owns the shop. My parents live next door and we all live in, or just outside, the small town of Roberts.
Even though he stated that the truck will vibrate and the tires will wear unevenly, he was unwilling to do anything about it until Monday.
I also explained that I will be out of town for many days, and I have to use my truck for work.
He accepted all blame for the mistake, and even explained it to his father Tom (the owner). I said he should let me use his truck, and he could go without until Monday. Their response is that they don't give out loaners.
Rather than come 4 miles into town on a Saturday to fix their mistake, I was simply told to wait until Monday.
Ironically Tom was given our "Good Neighbor Award" last year at our town celebration-- Good Neighbor Days.
