It's not the neatest of shops. Engines, transmissions, and junkers to trip over. But they are open most evenings, and get the job done without any added expenses. Usually, only what you ask for. I've gotten work done here for the same as other places quote for the parts.

Nice guys, but they put the wrong alternator into my roommate's Bronco. It's such a simple vehicle to work on - any decent mechanic really ought to be able to handle that. It caused endless frustrating problems for him. You get what you pay for here, it seems.

I'm kicking myself for living 2 blocks away from this garage for 8yrs and never taking advantage of it. I called them yesterday for a quote on my front & rear brakes, they were $500 cheaper than other places I called. I dropped my car off this am and shortly after they called to tell me I actually didn't need rotors in the front only pads, which I can't say most places would do....I picked my car up after 3hrs and paid less than what I was quoted. I agree with Chuck, not clean but not a priority when you find a cheap and honest mechanic!

Consistently low priced repairs by experienced mechanics. Not a clean shop by any measure, but no attempts are made to upcharge you. You can trust these guys to do honest work and they work long hours.
