customer relations falling apart

Began going here after GIECO sent my car here after an accident three or four years ago. Every one seemed friendly. While the work they did jad a few issues after the fact. We where treated with respect. We begam using them and when major car repair came up on a dif car they even helped us get a cc with 9 months no interest. Lets fast forward to this past year. I had a light bulb go out. Took it to them they said no problem. 32 later. That night I noticed my blinker not working. Thinking it was my bad luck. But morning ot worked. I called a few days later after I was able to put the pices of the puzzle together we called and was told to bring it in. We took the car in a total of three times before they actually took a look! We had an oil change and inspection done. Each time they never looked. I usually work lateso it was closing time ea so we got bring it back. About two month later brought it in for break work they could not recall ever being told about this. They finally looked at it and replaced the light they just fixed a month ago and charged me another 32. My final issue was imbarissing by treating a referal horrible. I work at a hotel so when a guest had issues I told her call Hillman. A stranded out of town visitor and they would not help. She had aaa towe her car to a new location. Gets better, aaa uses hillman's towe service , Three hours later they did not respond. When they finally did they dropped the car off at the new garages old location and left the keys in the car. Now this week a relative also out of town had issues and they refused to look at it Saturday. Would have to waite till Monday. They ended up renting a car. Like I said, service or customer car appears forgotten.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of having some work done to my van after an auto accident recently and couldn't be more pleased with Hillman Automotive!!! They were professional, courteous and quick! Dave was fantastic and helped me 100% along the way!! I would def recommend them to anyone looking for automotive service or/and repair!

I called to make an appointment 2 days in advance for a few car repairs and received a quote for the price. I dropped the car off and gave them my number to contact me. After waiting almost 7 hours and hearing nothing I called them 15 minutes before they closed for the day. They said the didn't do any of the repairs because they couldn't get a hold of me. This was a complete lie as my phone never registered a missed call from them. On top of that they quoted me a higher price than what they originally said earlier. Needless to say I took my car and left after I made them give me the oil change for free. Stay away!

These guys know what they are doing. They are efficient, skilled, honest and competitively priced. What more could you want? I brought my jeep in because it was making a horrible rattling noise. It could've been anything and I would've believed whatever I was told. They tightened something up and didn't even charge me. The folks at Hillman Automotive seem to know exactly what the problem is without intensive diagnostics. All my repairs were done correctly without any need for a return visit. Problem solved. The facility is clean in the waiting room is like a hotel lobby. Enjoy snacks coffee and free Wi-Fi. Or watch their flat screen TV. If you need a ride to work you're more than willing to accommodate and pick you up later too. I would highly recommend Hillman's for all your automotive needs

All three of our cars owe their efficiency and longevity to Hillman's My son drives a 1999 Saturn which he takes back and forth to school in North Carolina. It runs well and Hillman's has not only done a good job of repairing it, they have also told him when something isn't really an issue. My daughter drives a 2005 Prius with 230,000 miles on it. It just had to have the battery pack replaced at 229,000 miles and Hillman's did it, and did extra research to find a much lower price then I expected. They also gave me their feedback about an online service for battery pack sales they had found to be unreliable, saving me lots of time and possible money. I drive a 2013 Prius, and Hillman's told me the first time I came in for an oil change that it didn't need it at that point because synthetic oil changes last longer. Again, accurate information (I confirmed it with the dealer I bought the car from) and a significant savings for me. I have used Hillman's for years and find them honest, reliable, friendly and just great people to be around. While nobody likes it when their car breaks down, I am always treated well and get good service when I go to Hillman's
