Great level of service
I had a problem with my car and was out of town Trent seen that it would get right in. This was great because I didn't wanna stay in another hotel. The price was great and the service was priceless . I don't live there but I recommend these guys 100 percent.

I've done business with Autome...
I've done business with Autometrics for well over ten years and even as a Seattle resident, I cannot find an auto repair facility that is as honest, competent and committed to fair business practices....which is why I ship my cars to Autometrics from Seattle. They're that good, give them a try.

The Absolute Best!
I never thought that I would find a repair shop for my Porsche Boxster that would rival Metric Motorworks in Coos Bay, Oregon but I did! The professionalism and expertise demonstrated by the entire staff at Autometrics is very difficult to come by. Thank you!

Take your car to these folks with complete confidence. I was stranded far away from home and I felt like they really cared about getting me back on the road quickly. The folks behind the desk were friendly and professional. Spencer the mechanic found the problem right away and then did a great job fixing it. Before sending me on my way, Spencer helped me understand the problem. After I left, they sent me a text link to a report on what they found while under the car. There was a list of things that might need attention in the future. There were even clear photos in it! My car is vintage air cooled and that was no problem for them.

We had our 2002 Saturn at another shop in the Yakima Valley for 3 weeks, with one repair leading to another until they finally told us they were incapable of diagnosing why our car would not run after they did a tuneup. We called AutoMetrics who we have done business with before and they assured us that if no one can help us they could. They diagnosed, installed and programmed a new power control computer module within hours. Soon after that our car was overheating in hot weather and steep grades running the A/C. Brian had us bring the car back in, test drove it himself with his special diagnostics, found a stockpile of dust in the condenser behind the radiator, blew it out and sent us on our merry way. The entire staff working for him truly gave us the feeling they are a knowledgeable team. Kudos!

I called ahead for an appointment to have my BMW diagnosed and estimated, then planned to have it repaired with Autometrics. They were polite and informed me that the entire diagnostic appointment would not cost me anything, whether I had it repaired there or not, as their website clearly stated. After leaving school and driving the vehicle down there, I was informed I would be charged $260 ($130 per issue) JUST for the diagnosis. After one call to Yakima Automotive, I found out that my entire diagnosis would cost $96. I'm gladly taking my business to them, and will tell my classmates to avoid Autometrics for any of their car issues. Beware!

5 STARS FOR OVER CHARGE... I'm done. Final straw. 2nd time burned. Paid for a diagnostic. Was told that my car had a timing issue at the tune of $3600 and it would take 3 - 4 days to fix. Asked them to order parts and I would bring the car down when they were ready so a mother of 4 wouldn't be without a car. Was told to bring the car in Monday. Called that Friday and they hadn't even touched my vehicle yet. I emailed explaining the situation and never got the reply or response I asked for zero communication on my request. So finally the next week they get the parts... was told this time 5 days max. that Friday called.. "it will be done Sat" Sat i called it will be done Monday. That Monday I called..."should be done by the end of the day" end of the day they call... they finished everything with the timing and everything involved and HIS WORDS... " ITS STILL DOING THE EXACT SAME THING" well well well.... come to find out during my $180 inspection they never noticed that the spark plugs were bad still had the stock plugs after 10 years......... yeah that happened. SO I WAS CHARGED FOR A TIMING CHAIN. AND ALL THE PARTS / FLUID AND LABOR THAT COME ALONG WITH THAT... and to find out it was my spark plugs... that FYI were $680 installed for 8 plugs... I asked for poof that it was NOT the plugs and they said they would show proof.. After 5 days it took them to change the plugs. Went to pick up the car and zero proof that it was the timing belt. I asked for reasoning and a call back about the billing and never got a response never got a call never got an apology... Im done.

My car broke down in Yakima on my travels to Las Vegas and I found Autometrics through Google. The shop was closing but Marc (excellent and honest guy) was willing to wait for me to get my car towed to the shop (after they were closed). Marc knew I was traveling with my family and he made it a point to call me at 8:30 am the next morning and let me know the problem. It ended up being the transmission and we didn't have a choice but to have it fixed. Autometrics really came through for us. They allowed me to leave my car with them for a week while I continued my travels. Throughout the week Marc kept me posted with ALL the details and the shop even shuttled my husband in from the airport on his way back up to pick up my vehicle. Needless to say, AutoMetrics is very honest and trustworthy when it comes to doing business. I wish they had a shop here in Vegas where I can get my car serviced. Thank you Marc and AutoMetrics! My car is running like a champ!

everything done has had to be redone somewhere else. before i left they didn't even clean my coolant reservoir so pretty sure all the dirty stuff got sucked right back in. sure git a refund for oil change but now gotta redo radiator flush. hopefully they actually did the power steering. just regret ever stopping here. especially after telling them im a homeless vet. even then still ended up stranded

I was visiting Yakima and found Autometrics on the web - one of few places open on Saturday. I was having loud exhaust noise from my 2003 Ford Expedition. Mark checked me in, offered donuts, coffee, and before I could finish the coffee the problem had been found and fixed. Mark took me out to see the problem - a missing bolt on an exhaust flange. The bill, $2.50 for the bolt and $20 for labor. What a great, honest repair shop! If I lived here, this would be my shop for all future issues. Maybe I will visit just to get work done here - a boost to Yakima tourism!

I had my oil change done there last week. The staff was very professional and they did all of my work in the time frame they stated. Being from out of town I had no clue on a reputable shop in this town. They have good customer service and I will be back for sure. Thank you.
