I've written a lot of restaurant reviews on Yelp, because I get excited about food. I get passionate about food! This is the first, and I suspect will be the only Automotive Service review I ever write.
This is the best auto repair shop you could find - run with pride and ethics and knowledge. Run expertly, unpretentiously and generously.
Ed Foltz built a business based on an obsession for learning everything about cars and trucks, and a passion for helping people. His son, who inherited his father's talent, good nature and honesty, now runs the business in the same way it always has been,
If there's any way that you can make Ed Foltz Auto your go-to repair and service shop, I recommend wholeheartedly that you do. Car service just doesn't get any better. I discovered Foltz when I worked a few miles away, many years ago, and despite travelling a distance to get there now, there's nowhere else I'd go.

It is extremely difficult to find a reasonably priced shop, even more a trustworthy one.
I have nothing but good things to say about Ed Foltz Automotive and Truck Service.
They are fairly priced and reliable. they are honest with their customers and fill them in on everything they need to know and how to fix it. no malice here.
my little Festiva failed the smog check miserably. they fixed everything that needed fixing (the same day) and when it came to the 23 year old catalytic converter that needed replacing they referred me to a reliable and fair shop that was only 5 mins or so away.
they are genuinely invested in helping their customers out rather than scamming them. Dave, his son Kyle and their staff are running one hell of a shop. a gem among all the crooked competition. they have restored my faith in Automotive technicians. they are my go-to guys now, i recommend them to anyone.
i wish more family-owned businesses like this one existed.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Ed Foltz Automotive. I met the owner (Dave) about 8 years ago when my Acura exploded and needed a head gasket. I was going through a lot personally, and I appreciate that Dave was honest and forthright with me (unlike the other shyster that merely kept changing out parts saying it was "fixed")
With these guys its all about the diagnostics and figuring the root of the problem, not just changing parts to have something else go wrong down the road.
Since, then bought a used Honda Accord, that I took over to Ed Foltz to see if it was worth purchasing. Ed Foltz gave it their blessing, and we changed the oil and brakes immediately. My Accord 8 years later and 177k miles is still running strong thanks to this place.
I won't let anyone else touch my car until these guys look at it. My check engine light was on I take it to Ed Foltz, Dave does his "magic" and tells the truth. "I need a catalytic converter" UGH and recommends a place to go. I stall on this for a year, finally get the converter, pass smog, get my registration tags all is right with the world.
Dave, his son Kyle, Auturo, and all the other guys that work there are golden from where I stand. I tell everyone about this place.

This is a great shop. We use them to maintain our commercial fleet of trucks and I also use them for my personal automobile. Dave is an expert and you will not find a shop that takes the time to explain and show you exactly what was wrong with your car, like he does.
My Mustang was in an accident and never ran the same since I got it back from the body shop, Dave was the third mechanic I took my car to and the only one to fix the car properly. It wasn't cheap, but my car runs great and has ever since. I highly recommend this shop, especially if you have a complex issue.

Highly recommended auto shop! I've been to many mechanics and most just brush you off and don't really seem to care if you're satisfied with the work they've done, and don't seem to get how important your car can be. Not here. Dave is a great guy who explains in detail about what he's going to do to your car, why, and doesn't try to BS you. This is the only place I trust to bring my cars where I know I will get an honest answer about repairs at a decent price. Also, if you're near their area, they'll pick up your car! Super convenient.
