I found the owner very helpful in understanding my problem; my service was done on-time and about 60% of the cost the dealership quoted me. To me, Pole's has become a hidden jewel in auto repair. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I have mixed reviews for this company. I had 2 friends who have had ok and less then ok service from Joey Pole through the years. A few days ago I had a trailer tire that needed a new stem put on. I expected a $5 to $10 charge for the 5 to 10 minutes it took to install one, given other places like Mark at Monro Muffler didn't even charge me recently for repairing a flat tire.
The young mechanic was nice enough but when he checked with the owner, Joey Pole on what the charge was, I was shocked.
Given that their inspection fee to inspect a car was $30 and takes up to a half hour, I was surprised the owner, Joey Pole charged me $20 for such an easy fix.
Although I'm grateful for the repair, I will tavel the few more miles to Monro Muffler in town for my further car needs, I have over $1,000 in repairs I need done and would have considered Poles, except for my recent experience and what I considered to be a steep charge for 5 to 10 minute fix.
A take it and learn experience, to be sure.

Prices outrageous for mounting and balancing tires. As a professional driver I know how much it costs and have travelled the country finding the best places for mounting/balancing tires. I go through about 60 tires a year. Don't be fooled by surcharges on these items that are labor only charges. Check around, and in my experience, anything over $80 for mount/balance is beyond expensive. And the best place in the country, where people send their wheels for refinishing, etc, only charges $55 for a set of 4 (including disposal). They charge over $135 for a set of 4, plus disposal fees. Its unfortunate that they decide to charge about $500 in labor/hour. Sad, they looked like a good place too and I always try mom/pop places first before I go anywhere else.

Top quality service at a reasonable price. I have been doing business with Pole's since moving to Hudson 12 years ago. I usually do most of my auto repairs myself, but there are times when the job is either over my head, or I just don't have the time. I have always been satisfied with the work and never felt like I was being ripped off.

Looking for an honest mechanic? Look no further. There are a lot of places to choose from, but if you'd like an honest, family run business, that the Hudson police, town and fire call first, go to Poles automotive =)

I go to Pole's each and every year. If u want the job done right this is the place to go. I've known Joe for many years now and he the most honest mechanic there is along with all of his crew. He thrives on honesty, perfection, and respect. He also keeps his shop very clean as well as his bathrooms. Ladies, lets face it u will never find another shop that has a bathroom that is as clean as Joes Auto. But most of all he will treat u right when it comes to fixing ur car and making the price right.

I have found Pole's Automotive to be very accommodating, reasonably priced and a pleasure to do business with. Their work ethics and the quality of their work are always top notch. If you have to be on someone's automotive repair customer list, then this is the one because you know you can depend on them to do it right the first time.

As a long time customer of Pole's Auto, I can say I have NEVER liked HAVING TO GO THERE. Nobody should ever like going to see their mechanic. However, when the car breaks, I take it (or tow it) there. I have always been treated well and have always felt kind of like like a VIP. Their Up-Front honesty and service goes above and beyond other repair shops. They offer reasonable pricing and prompt repair unlike all the other establishments I have visited. And usually, it cost less than other shops in regard to the labor. I recommend them to all of my friends and family...

Joe and Joey are the BEST. Helpful and on point at all times. I own a corvette and a truck They service both in a timely fashion. I don't trust the vette in anybody else's hands. Their shop is clean and clutter free and that makes me feel like they will treat my vehicles with care. He has squeezed me in even when the shop is really busy. I have sent 2 of my co-workers there and they had the same excellent service that I have had.
