The muffler fell off my car a few weeks ago the guys at Exhaust Specialty welded the muffler back on for no charge, which I only get paid every two weeks this was so nice of them to do that! I plan on getting the whole system fix and I will be going back to them!

I came in from out of town on a Saturday with a loud exhaust on my Chevy Express 3500 and needed to have it fixed to get back on the road. Dave was fully booked for the day but managed to squeeze me in knowing my schedule. They diagnosed my problem, jumped right on it and had me back on the road in no time. Great service great people! Highly recommended!

Had Dave here take a look at my '07 Corolla (152,000 miles) when the check engine light went on. A P0420 code indicated that something was likely wrong with my O2 sensors or catalytic converter. He completed readings on all the equipment and helped me diagnose where the problem resided. Initially the downstream O2 sensor was presenting higher than normal readings so we replaced that before we decided on the converter (which I assumed was the main culprit). It made no sense to replace the converter if the issue was only with this O2 sensor (cheaper fix).
I thought I avoided a large bill only to find after about 100 miles my check engine light went on again and I thought, "damn.... it WAS the converter." Some of you may be thinking that I paid money for the downstream O2 hose now when I didn't have to but the life on those are usually around 80,000 miles. It likely needed to be replaced regardless.
Anyways, went back to Dave and he gave me a fair quote on the converter through his shop and even recommended that I buy the upstream O2 sensor elsewhere after a pretty large quote from a local chain autoparts store (I found the part for 1/2 price through amazon). He and his men specialize in manufacturing converters and are very good welders. They took out the converter and upstream sensor and replaced both of them. He even cleaned out the filtration system that leads to the upstream sensor. The whole price with parts and labor for all repairs cost me probably about 1/3 of what a dealership would have charged me.
This business has been running for 20+ years and Dave is a knowledgeable mechanic who knows how to treat his customers. He is not looking to take advantage of you, only to educate you on your car's exhaust system and get you back on the road operating a clean and efficient vehicle again. Depending on the job, vehicle maintenance can be expensive; if you need significant exhaust work do not expect this job to be a cheap fix. However, just know that regardless, Exhaust Specialities not only cares about remaining profitable but also about the business RELATIONSHIP. I cannot recommend this shop enough!

Brought in my old ford ranger with exhaust falling apart, they replaced the bad part within about 10 minutes for 35$ and a good looking weld with friendly service.

They squeezed me in on short notice on a Saturday. They got me in-and-out pretty quickly and didn't charge me too much. They still didn't fix my muffler tip from the previous visit, and the muffler/pipe work was somewhat shoddy.
If you need basic exhaust repair done for a fair price, like a hole fixed or a new resonator put in, this is an OK place to go. But I wouldn't take a high-end or newer car there... The work wasn't pretty, but that may have been because it was a Saturday and their normal people weren't there.
