I took my car there today and I was very disappointed he told me I needed something that was 200.00 but when he talked to my mother he told her 350.00 because I told him she was paying for it he tried to get money off her, I decided to run outta there as fast as I could but before I could he charged me 70.00 just to look at my car, when I dropped it off he didn't say anything about running any test. I took it some where else I had to pay 150.00 and Scott's was wrong about what he thought was wrong with it!!!

These guys are super fast and super friendly!! I got my oil changed last night after work and my husband's done this morning. Never used them before and found them through a Groupon offer - boy am I happy I got that Groupon! I even got a free koozie for me and my husband when I went it! These guys are a wonderful bunch of people and anyone who hasn't tried them out yet just doesn't know what they're missing! A+++

Friendly, informative, fair, timely service. Will return. Good groupon for a newbie in Columbia.... And now, over a year later I take my car to Scott's whenever I have an issue. I'm always in and out quickly, they share exactly what the issues are and what needs to be done. Good service and good people--I highly recommend!

Pros: Transparency & Communication (on site) Cons: Estimate follow up and smoking | I took my classic car in for an oil change and tire rotation (don't just take this car anywhere). These guys seems to be super easy to talk to and knowledgeable (definitely car guys). They did a great job being transparent about what they are doing and any findings on the car (leaks, etc). They took me into the garage and showed me all the issues and explained what it would take to fix them. I asked for a written quote but they did need to call about parts and would get it to me in 24hours (they did give a verbal quote with a rough estimate on parts - like most people though I want things in writing especially for something that will cost $XXXX.XX). 24 hours came and went. I gave them 4 or 5 days and called in and spoke with Freddy. He made a comment about "I thought we sent it to you?". Then said he would send it out via text... never got it. Called in the following day and they said they would just email it. Again never got it. It's not fair for the customer to chase down a simple piece of paper. It makes me question the quality of work and detail that you will put in my car especially when the repair is not just a simple oil change. (to be clear I still have not received the written estimate. When I was in the garage one of the employees was also smoking around my car. Which is kind of a turn off to me. | Overall: I did like them and would like to give them the chance to earn my business back. It could easily just be a communication problem. But who wants to call a place # times to give them your business and money!

I've been here twice, first to replace my radiator, and then to inspect a noise under the hood that turned out to be a bearing in my A/C. Both times they were very polite an brought me out to show me what was going on, rather than just telling me, which I very much appreciate, as I believe it is a demonstration of honesty. Thank you for the great service, I will continue to come back for future repairs!

The guys here are among the best. Never had a problem with them, and they are always quick at getting things done. And they don't try and sell you useless things, but they will tell you, hey, this will need to be replaced soon. Price has always been reasonable.
