2013 Mercedes E350 BlueTec diesel. Drove 2.5 hours from home to work in Ocala last night. When I got to Ocala smoke was billowing from under the hood. Oh boy. I'd just had it worked on last month at the MB dealer near my home. It had been leaking oil which was diagnosed as a problem with the turbocharger seals. Spoke to Jim McQuade, the owner, who said 'bring it in at 2 PM" At 2 PM on the button he took it right in. There were 3 guys looking at it up on the lift. taking things apart...then cleaning...back together and out for a test drive. In the end diagnosed with a leaking rear main seal. Suggested I try to work it out with the dealer since they started the project, but noted he'd be happy to do it if things didn't work out. Not only was he candid and forthright..but said it was "on the house" since they didn't fix it. Competent, friendly and honest. Wow!

Jim pulled my 2005 Mini Cooper into his shop in a very timely manner and checked it out free of charge. He even called a local auto parts store to check on prices and availability without me asking him to. A+, it's hard to find repair shops as good as this.

Why no reviews?? This shop has been repairing my BMW's & Porsche for years. Top-notch, certified mechanics who take pride in their work and craft without the need to "gouge" you or use "creative" charging strategies like the "big boys" to separate you from your money. Maybe Jim (owner) can't speak German too well, but he is a German "car-whisperer". Also, fun guys to know!
