Being a single women I'm alway...

Being a single women I'm always concerned with mechanics taking advantage of me. Growing up I had my Dad, boyfriends & eventually a husband that would guide me in the right direction as far as car problems. I have used AAMCO 2 times now & I have been wonderfully surprised at how nice they are & how helpful too. I totally trust them & I will definately be back for future needs. Thanks you AAMCO for all of your help.

Excellent service, courteous a...

Excellent service, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Used a coupon and got a great deal on complete transmission service......clean waiting room and bathroom. I expected to be bombarded with you need this extra cost item and that needs to be replaced etc. etc etc. But none of that ! pleasant surprise! A nice experience.........highly recommended.

Gears has always taken great care of both of our cars. Jay and Katie are honest, hard-working business owners who truly care about people and want to help any way they can. So many places will take advantage of you when it comes to car repairs but Gears is an honest, ethical business and does excellent work. I tell everyone to use them. You won't find a better place for car repairs in the entire area!

I purchased a lemon from Parkway Motors and was looking at a 3,000.00 repair job in addition to the 3,000.00 already spent on it. Warranty company was giving me the run around and the guys at Gears got everything rolling for me. As a police officer and father of three, I couldn't afford the job myself and the fees the warranty company wouldn't cover, the guys at Gears did. Thank you for your help getting this car back on the road and the lending a helping hand. These are business practices that bring repeat customers!

This reminds how shops used to be I took my truck up thinking I was going to need something done to transmission. The fine ppl assured me there was nothing wrong with it. I am writing a review for them not because they did work for me, but because they had an opportunity to make money from a young ignorant person and didn't. A few months later I had my oil changed closer to home and I was told I was going to need a new transmission. At that point I was aware of the " ford tick". So he didn't just save me money he saved me from being taken advantage of in the future. This was a couple of years ago. Still got the same truck same transmission no problems no nt. Thanks gears !!!!!

Jay and Katie operate a Trustworthy and Honest Business! I have stopped in to GEARS to do other business, Jay always takes time to ask "how are things going with YOU!" one of their slogans is "were a customer becomes part of the family" how true that is. I was taken advantage of by another local transmission shop. Jay, went above and beyond not only to repair the damage but also searched and found a reliable specialty shop for aftermarket programming! Jay, Toolsie, and DooDah continually ask me for updates on the vehicle. Jay and Katie are what you would call true friends, great asset to have in Panama City!

Gears Transmissions is awesome! My car had over 120,000 miles on it but I couldn't afford a new one at the time. Jay made sure my car kept running and did it at a price I could afford. Great Group of Guys & Katie! Straight Forward, and Honest had some work done on my car was very pleased, Jay was honest and Fair. I referred my son, Jay was straight up honest about the cost of time and materials simply would not justify the worth of the truck. Not like other transmission shops in town that tear apart the car then start Extorting you as your car is on the lift! THANK YOU!!

Keith and staff were very helpful throughout the entire process. Every thing was handled with professionalism and in a timely manner. The price was laid out with explanation of labor and parts, once diagnosed with the problem. I would recommend this shop to family and friends. (I had transmission rebuilt and clutch installed)

I love this place! I had some transmission trouble with my 2010 Mazda. I took it to Gears and they diagnosed it for free. I was treated like family and they had me back out on the road the next day. Fair prices and a lifetime warranty. Sometimes being a woman has its disadvantages, dealing with mechanics is one of those situations. I didn't want to get ripped off. I thankfully spoke with Katie, the owner, and she was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and kind. My three year old even loved her! If you want someone you can trust, go to Gears! They have earned a lifetime customer!
