Be Careful
I use to take my vehicles here in the past but I won't anymore. Gave me estimate that changed in a period of two weeks by $50. Wanted to charge me over $200 for a job that only takes a little over 1 hour if that.Hub assembly replacement & maybe a CV axel if part was bad. I had part so the estimate was for labor only.
The customer service was awful. Sound good on phone but when I got there attitude was totally different. I got my work done for $60 at a small Garage B&C in winder. I saved like $180. I don't recommend use this garage especially if your not familiar with car repair.

I am absolutely appalled at the way Paul and the employees of Golden Rule do business. My car was dropped off by the tow company on Friday night. I called on Saturday morning to let them know not to do ANY work on the vehicle until my warranty company approved the work. Due to poor customer service and lack of communication I opted to have my vehicle sent to another repair center. Very nice, were very thorough. I had a fuse problem,and before releasing the car they made sure to show me where the fuse box was and which fuse had blown, so I could replace it if the fuse blew again. Plus they gave me a spare fuse just in case, so if it did blow, I could drive it back to the shop. Can't beat that kind of service and professionalism. They also give 10% off to AAA. Would highly recommend.

I was in Covington from out of town (i live 200 miles away) when I had an issue with my brakes. I was annoyed, frustrated, and scared of what it would cost me but thanks to Golden Rule I was able to get in and out of the shop that same day without the repairs costing me an arm and a leg! My car broke down about 7 hours into a 12-hr drive in Covington, Ga., and AAA brought my car to Golden Rule (this was late at night, so I had to go to a hotel and wait for the next morning for them to start work on it. By 9am, the garage staff had learned that my engine needed to be completely replaced (totaling the car), and I was stuck 5 hours away from my home. Paul and the rest of the crew were incredibly generous to me while I was figuring out how to get my car and myself back to my hometown the cheapest way available. Paul gave me his opinion and his sympathies, and didn't charge for the crew looking over my car and putting multiple quarts of oil in it to see if that was where the problem was. I am in total gratitude to Golden Rule Automotive for their hospitality and generosity
