I have used Chapman Automotive for over ten years for all of my families automobile repairs and maintenance. I have found them to be reasonable, honest, and very professional. There is never any surprises when you deal with them. They give you a thorough explanation of the work that is to be accomplished and timely delivery of my vehicles when they are completed. The cost is always discussed before the work is began and I have never had any additional hidden costs. I would recommend them highly to anyone who is looking for reliable, economical service for their cars and trucks.

Overpriced, Unreliable diagnosis

I brought my car into Chapman auto with a front end vibration only upon acceleration. The owner John told me it was a wheel bearing and tires. After I had the work done for 324.08 (for one wheel bearing!!!) which I later found out it was a rip off. The car still vibrated just as bad. Before getting new tires I got a 2nd opinion. Mechanic said it was the left axle arm since it only did it under acceleration and a wheel bearing would howel all the time. I replaced the axle arm for 280$ and it drives like new. Chapman tried to tell me they drove it after the bearing and that it drove perfect and it obviously did not. I would not reccommend this auto repair shop to anyone! Overpriced, bad service and terrible diagnosis!
