GREAT BUSINESS!!!! Brought in my CLK500 after another company wanted to overcharge me for installing my seat belt, they made a complete mess of my car, installing and damaging a $400 part.
James Motor Works installed the correct part and put my car back perfectly. For those who don't know, my car has a very complex seat belt system. I was charged way less than the dealer and the other clueless shop. My car also had a starting problem, they fix the problem in a few hours and didn't overcharge me.
The Owner Jim and his Receptionist Adrienne, provided excellent customer service. Thanks to this guy at Napa Auto Parts Store who sent me to this company. I will stick with James Motor Works from now on!!!!

James Motor Works fixed my A/C after hours. They even vacuumed my car, detailed the interior, and washed the exterior all for free!!! They did a great job, and threw in several additional bonuses. The owner explained to me that these special perks are provided for all customers no matter how big or small the job needed to be done is. Now, that's customer service.

Poor customer service. They dont know how to communicate with customers and failed to listen to customer complaint. After brake replacement front tires had resistence, tightening and sound of friction when turning. Called to inform the facility and asked what may be the cause and the mechanic was defensive and told me he was going to hang up the phone. There no argument or rudness between us. He just did not want to hear a complaint or provide solution. I guess he felt important or powerful to tell me he will hang up the phone. We have a mercedes and bmw which we will not take there again. I have had my car many years now without issues only maintence as anounced by the car. This is the first time my car had issue after there brake replacement.

I have been looking for someone reliable to work on my 1967 Camaro. I read the reviews of James Motor Works and decided to stop by for a visit. I am extremely happy that I did. Their communication is excellent and they make it a point to to explain in detail what they are looking at, what the options are and and the approximate cost for the repair/service. Jim would have me come in to personally to see what the motor looked like each step of the way and to point out any issues or improvements he can make. They did a complete engine compartment restoration on my car and it came out beautifully. Jim made several valuable suggestions while the car was in his possession that I had not given much thought to and they made a significant improvement in performance as well as appearance. He took great care of the car and detailed it before I picked it up. His office administrator/guru is Melodee. She is a pleasure to work with and does great job of keeping you updated on the progress. It is very obvious that she cares about their customers and wants to make sure that you are happy. Excellent customer service is a thing of the past and so refreshing to experience it again in today's way too busy world. I also had conversations with two of his mechanics. They were very courteous/friendly as well.
I took my car in a second time to have a front disc brake conversion. Once again the communication and service were excellent. I will not hesitate to bring any of my cars back to hem for service.

I was driving down I-75 on my way home to FL when my vehicle started acting up. I googled nearby mechanics & found James Motor Works. Jim gave very generously of his time & expertise w/o charge when trying to diagnose my vehicle's problem. I would definitely have felt comfortable with letting him repair my vehicle if I had been staying in town instead of just passing through.

Jim has been maintaining my vehicles for years. He has done scheduled maintenance and repairs on my Jaguar, Ford Explorer and Mazda Miata. His work is every bit as good if not better that the dealerships and his prices beat the dealerships by a huge margin. If it is not under warranty, I will never return to a dealership for maintenance.
