Was talking to my tattoo artist out of all people about getting my oil changed and he told me about this guy named, Don in Orange that he takes his RV to. He gave his number and when I first brought my car in Don was very friendly and let me know what I needed with no BS. Very personable, goes the extra mile and is straight up honest with you about what's going on with your car. You can't ask for anything better. Great mechanics are hard to find and Don is one of them.
And dont forget to be nice to Linda at the front desk. Super friendly and chats with you while you wait... another major plus for this place.
They'll have my business until I don't need a car, lol.

The main concern is that with one mechanic there can be an indeterminate amount of time before my car is serviced. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. Also, I've received lowball estimates and it can be a shock when the bill is almost twice the estimate. Other times he's eaten some of the cost, which is cool, but more accuracy upfront would help. They are friendly and want to do the job right.

The perfect indie shop in whole orange country. his prices are fair, not the lowest, but does great job, tell you only what you need, does not try to upsell anything you dont need.
he will also use parts that you bring him and only charges you for the labor. you can bring your own synthetic oil and avoid the high price of all other shop.
and best of all he guarantee his work in anything he touched!!!!

As you go through life and get older some things really start to stand out...the keys to life so to speak, a wiseness that allows you to pull a fast one on a young whippersnapper or the resourcefulness to see 5 steps ahead. You soon realize that there are 3 people in your life that you need to be the best at what they do and that you can trust...Your Doctor, Dentist, and Auto Mechanic. Upon walking into OC Master Techs and talking to Don I got a little giddy. Could it be? We talked about what was wrong with the car and within 100ft of the test drive, Don NAILED IT! Ok I thought this guy is good, but here comes the zinger...he's gonna want my first born right? Wrong! His price was very reasonable...2 down one to go...last hurdle, could he fix it?? YES! YES! YES! I have completed the old guy triad! the triple crown of life! The trifecta of personal service!! I now have a doctor-dentist-mechanic combo to take me into the next 10 years. Luckily my car doesn't break too often so Don is available for you too and Im OK with sharing ;)

It can take years for find a reliable and friendly technician who cares, will spend time talking to you, and takes pride in his work. Not to mention he's darn good at what he does, has the latest equipment and diagnostic tools and reference information, etc. TAKE YOUR CAR TO DON. HE IS ONE OF A KIND AND STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK.
