I took my wife's minivan in for a busted power steering pump. Not only did they fix the power steering, but they did it on time and within the previously quoted estimate. Additionally, since we were first time customers, we received a discount. Great customer service and very professional. We will definitely be back in the future.

I took my car in for a fuel pump problem. The battery was also in need of a charge. Sue Vander Wal told me the battery was so dead that it could not even be jump started. I have driving for over 50 years, so I knew this was total nonsense. They also quoted me a price to replace the fuel pump that was $200 more than D&L Automotive, so I jump started the car without a problem and rushed off to get it fixed by someone I knew would not rip me off. I had the battery tested and it was OK and just needed a recharge.

Vander Wal's is a great alternative to getting work done at a dealership, but an even better alternative to getting work done by someone who is just looking to rip you off. They were honest with me, kept everything within estimate, and I received updates as I was told. I would recommend them highly over anyone else in the Shelton area.
