My mentally disabled Uncle took his minor damaged back panel off his electric scooter into Bass Auto Body to get sanded and painted. When he went back to pick it up, the panel was in two pieces and one piece was missing. The panel was painted black (although the scooter was blue) and you could visibly tell the panel was never sanded. When I called and spoke with Bob Bass (the owner) he said when my Uncle brought the panel in that he knew the panel was beyond repair (which is completely false). Instead of telling my Uncle that he could not repair it, he took it and had it for days. He painted it black, and broke it into two. When I asked him on the phone if he would pay for the replacement part, he refused. EVEN THOUGH HE IS THE ONE WHO DESTROYED IT BEYOND REPAIR. We will never do business with Bass Auto Body again. They didn't charge us for the damage that they did, but they also refused to comp us for a replacement part.
