A great place to go!!!! Luke was phenomenal! Got my oil changed and got advice about the other things going on with my car. It was an honest mechanic- who expects that in today's age!

Steve, his wife and staff are excellent!! They have worked on my vehicle a couple times over the past couple years and every time I get my car back I am extremely satisfied. They go above and beyond to provide the best automotive/mechanic service in Abq. Steve is a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic, and the people he works with are also great. Steve will walk you through everything he does and explain it so you understand exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. He will also save you money when it is possible. They are very fair and can offer cost effective options for your repairs. This is the best mechanic I have ever used! The shop is also very conveniently located in the UNM area. I will continue using C & S for every vehicle I own!!

Steve and his wife Cindy are great. My best story is from many years ago when I first met Steve as some other idiot shop had left my oil filter loose, then another idiot shop told me my oil pan needed to be replaced. Steve called me and said "surprise your oil filter is loose, someone forgot to tighten it, you're not leaking oil!" So the $900 repair became a $68 inspection and engine steam clean. I was sold on their shop after that. Steve puts quality first and does the job right. His prices are fair and explained in detail. Their shop is a fine example of a small family business with good ethics.

This is a family owned auto mechanic business. I spent awhile talking with the wife of the mechanic (Steve), who works as the receptionist and helps out as needed. They are honest, hard working, wonderful people who care deeply about providing honest, high quality auto services. They start by providing you with an honest estimate, and if they think they may have to go above that, they only do so after they discuss it with you and explain why. If they can provide you with a less expensive service, they will also do that. They are excellent communicators and you WILL NOT be overcharged. For example, I went to them needing my windshield wiper fluid pump replaced, or so I thought. They quoted me $40 for labor as I had the part; a store down the street had previously quoted me $100. They took a look at it and realized that the pump only needed to be cleaned out, and ended up charging me even less (I don't recall the final cost but it was cheap.) In short, wonderful people who do excellent work. Give them your business; they deserve it.

Steve's a great mechanic and walks you through everything in detail. My car is not in the greatest working order from an accident years ago, and Steve showed me why, piece by piece, and he worked with me on short-term and long-term fixes, and operated within my budget. I'll be going back often as it was a pleasure to work with C&S. Really happy with the work and care I received.
