I myself am very leery of mechanics. You know the ones that always push extra repairs you don't need. I just moved into the area and needed a mechanic. So I took my car to this one shop and said tell me what is wrong and not to fix it. They gave me a list of what has to be done. Then I took it to this place and asked what is wrong with my car. They told me the exact same thing the other shop said. I asked anything else has to be done and they said no. Later on I had to have a water pump done. A day later I got a warning light I was low on fluid. I brought it back and they put it on the lift right away to check it. it's a German car and has a very complex cooling system. They said there must have been a air bubble that had to work its self out. After that I never had a problem with the cooling system. A great thing is they are available on a moment's notice to work on m car.
