My wife and I had a breakdown on the NYS thruway late in the afternoon while on the way to an important appointment. We limped to the nearest exit, which was Amsterdam. Googled for nearby garages, found Merv's and hoped for the best. When we arrived, Merv dropped what he was working on and immediately took a look at our car. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a brake caliper that had come disassembled. Merv replaced a missing bolt, ensured the brake was properly put back together, and took the car for a test drive with me. We could not be happier! Merv saved the day and proved there still are good honest people in the world!
