I had the absolute worst week ever and to top it off out of nowhere on my way to work at 8:30am my car starts making a very loud banging noise... I pulled into 2 other repair shops and was told they can't help me today BUT not to drive my vehicle... on my way down rt 20 I see DT Automotive...I pulled in ready to have a nervous breakdown... Only good thing is a friendly manager yet speaks with vague details. Notably because the work performed on the car was menial and car returned with new scratches and scuffs. Upon evaluation by a highly rated Subaru auto body, it became evident that DT takes shortcuts, leading to future problems. Unreliable. Days between calls about my cars status. Lux Auto really drags them down, seems like reasonable people coerced by rude salesmen.

Out of nowhere my car begins to jerk and a loud banging noise is hear coming from the front of my car (I am on my way to work and no where near my "usual" repair shop) so I pull into the closest auto repair shop I can find, they tell me they can't help me till the end of the week but not to drive my car... I pull into another repair shop and hear sorry our bays are full. I am ready to loose my mind because I know nothing about cars and need to be at work now. I pull into DT Automotive, right near the shop I just left... I am ready to have a breakdown at this point, thinking my car is going to need thousands in work. I was greeted by the nicest lady possible when I come in so of course I break down crying, I couldn't hold it in any longer, she gives me a moment and during that time Paul comes from the back and takes my keys, he takes my car in right away... after about 15 minutes I have composed myself, Paul came over to let me know that it is a simple fix and not to worry, he said he can take care of it. Not only did he take car of it but he made it so I could drive my car to work that morning and come back the following day AFTER work when THEY were CLOSED to do the work since I have to work when they are open.
I am amazed at the honesty and compassion this repair shop has... it was just 6 bolts that were missing, (BUT it was very insafe for me to be driving it) it was a very cheap fix, he could have made up any problem and I would have believed it since I know nothing about cars.
I highly recommend this place as they have now made a repeat customer out of me!!!

Paul and his mechanics are simply awesome. They are totally honest, professional and fair. They put a new clutch in my Outback quickly, didn't over charge me and got me back on the road the same afternoon. They even gave me a ride to a nearby barnes and noble's where I could hang out and get work done. If I lived in Worcester, I wouldn't take my car to anyone else. I can't thank them enough.
