Truly the best. We have been taking cars to Bob for OVER 20 years. He is honest and trustworthy. We have been in situations where other places have given us a laundry list of needed repairs for thousands of dollars and Bob has given us solid recommendations on what had to be done now and what could wait. Our family has trusted Bob with our car repair needs since our first experience with him, and we have been happy every time we have brought a vehicle to him. Best Auto Repair is OUTSTANDING!

Mr Barron and his son are extremely professional and knowledgable. My family has been trusting them with all our auto needs for several years. I always recommend them to anyone inquiring about a professional, reasonably priced garage. If you're looking for a honest mechanic to do work on your automobile whether its to have your oil changed or a total rebuild, this is definitly the place to go......guaranteed!

I just picked up my Honda Accord from BEST AUTO BODY AND PAINTING IN EL CAJON. I was very impressed by te quality of work and the timely manner I which they fixed my car. my car looked bran new and I couldn't have asked for anything better Tony and his wife Rita are very fair and very professional. I give them a million star rating and I reccomend them to anyone needing their car repaired...thanks again

The best shop I could take my car. Both the son and Father know their stuff and work hard and you don't get cheap service. You get what you pay for. I bought a brandnew 2013 Camaro back in 2013 and I never took it back to the dealer for servicing. I only take my car to these people.

I have been going to Bob since I was 19 and a single mother... from the first time I went to him he has been nothing but straight forward and honest. He does nothing that is not completely necessary and completes the job in a more than reasonable price. I can never say anything but wonderful things about Bob and now his son Robbie working side by side learning the business and knowing this great service will continue.
The best way to describe Bob.... one of those people that can listen to a car or put his hands to a car for moments and he can diagnose the problem.... He is a talent within his field that is precious when found. I would never take my car to anyone else!!

Best Auto Repair is by far the most honest, detail-oriented, and precise auto repair shop I have ever used! The owner Bob is a very friendly and professional guy who will tune-up and repair exactly what you need him to. (No upsells, no fluff!)
I've used Best Auto Repair's services on multiple occasions (3+ years), and they always keep my older van running in the best possible condition. (I have been to my fair share of auto mechanics in the San Diego area during the past decade and this shop always leaves me satisfied with a smile on my face!)
What stands out the most to me about this auto repair shop is that it's family owned, so they care about being kind to your pocketbook. (When I was in my early 20's, I took my van into an Express Tire shop who knew I had no knowledge of anything automotive and quickly took advantage of the fact. They convinced me to spend hundreds of dollars in repairs that I didn't need! I'm pretty sure that Express Tire shop trained their employees to look at their customers as dollar signs and suckers!)
The folks at Best Auto Repair respect their customers, and treat you like an intelligent human being. This is a business you can trust!

Friendly honest service for woman who knows nothing about cars....
I took my 2006 Mazda to Bob and he was able to diagnosis and repair check engine light and vibration at start up that had stumped the local dealer. He was friendly and reassuring. This is a father son/business and they made me feel like family. I will feel comfortable bringing my mother's car here and not feel like we are being taken advantage of. I wish more businesses worked like this.
