Not Honest work

My wife took my son's car for AC work at Percision Tune. A bib mistake. They told her the AC compressor had a hole in it and could not be repaired. they would fix it for $700.00 with parts and labor. I took the car to the Fixing Irish…

I had a wonderful experience at this shop. wonderful customer service everybody there was friendly very knowledgeable and saved me a ton of money...the lady at the front dest was amazing with me and my children... The first place I went to tried telling me my repairs would be 3500 for new engine so I took it for a second opinion at mt pleasant precision tune auto care turned out it only needed spark plugs and intake cleaning totaling $385 !!!! I'm a young single mother on vacation and sure didn't need the extra expense. ... thanks to the honest workers ...would highly recommend this shop...the lady at the counter even gave me and my kids a ride to the shopping center down the road and watched a movie while they were doing repairs and she came back and got us when the car was ready. Thank you precision tune auto care I highly recommend this place ....

Took my 2005 Honda Accord to Precision Tune after having my air bag replaced at the local Honda Dealership under a recall. The Honda dealer recommended several services be performed because they had "inspected" the car while performing the recall. They told me that the engine cam and crankshaft seals should be replaced because they were leaking oil and that the timing belt and water pump should be replaced also "while they we were already in there" replacing the seals. This repair was quoted on my receipt along with several other recommended services totaling over $2850! The people at Precision Tune inspected the cam and crankshaft seal issues and told me there was only slight oil seepage at the seals and that there was no significant oil leakage and that the repair was not really needed at this time. They also inspected the other issues noted by Honda and agreed that the transmission fluid needed to be changed, the cabin air filter was dirty, my valve cover gasket needed to be replaced and the oil was changed. So to make a long story short, my bill was less than $350 to get my cars maintainance up to date. This is an honest shop, they are pleasant to deal with and the prices are good. I will continue to come back .

I have been taking my cars there for 12 years and they have been wonderful every time. I also had them look at a car I was thinking of buying and they saved me from a major mistake. I would highly recommend them.

Well took my vehicle in beginning of summer to have a starting problem fixed. Service right when i walked through the door was unenthusiastic and gave me the impression that they could have cared less, which is when i should have turned back out the door and left. Foolishly enough i trusted them.. They "diagnosed" the problem as a bad fuel pump and said they would replace it for a little over $700. Again I foolishly agreed trusting this would fix the problem. After paying i hopped in my car, turned the key, and discovered the starting problem was just the same as when i took it in. If anything the problem has worsened since they "repaired' my car. Now when i go to start it up it does the same thing except now when i start up i smell gasoline. So i will now have to drop more money on my cars repairs and you can guarantee you will never see my car in their lot ever again. If you truly car for your car, do not take it into Precision Auto Tune.
